- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1 red pepper chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp. Salt
- Fresh ground black pepper
- hot sauce to taste
- 2 Tbs. Olive oil
Sauté the above ingredients in olive oil until soft.
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 2 cans chickpeas drained
- 1 lemon juiced
- 4 Tbs water
Food process or blend the tahini, chickpeas, lemon juice and water. Fold in the sautéed garlic, onion and red pepper mixture.
Serve with crackers, vegetables or use as a condiment on sandwiches.
